Theme Park Prototyping and Repair

Hansen's has been a part of the design, manufacturing engineering, prototyping, and production run completion, for several major theme park projects within and outside the USA. We also provide on-site installation of prototypes developed elsewhere.

Special Effects -

Including 6 ft diameter water cannons and "airplane launching" mechanisms for waterborne attractions.

Life Sized Robotic Dinosaurs –

Prototyped a dinosaur with more than 9 articulated joints, each controlled by hydraulics. One dinosaur exceeded 40 feet in overall length and weighted more that 10 tons!

Ride Track Fabrication and Installation -

For a ride attraction, made as built drawings, performed manufacturing engineering and prototyping of underwater ride track inclusive of unload area and turn out area. Also Installed ride track on site during nightly maintenance period at theme park with Hansen’s on-site services crew.
