SANDBLASTING

When it's time to get blasted, the guys at Hansen’s know what it takes to get it off. We have the right equipment, and years of experience in sand or glass bead blasting, Whether its a production item or single component to be coated, we are prepared to handle most any size job.

Surface blasting is an important step when coating since it helps to ensure that the material applied will have the full bond strength with the underlying substrate. .

For those smaller pieces, a glass bead blasting cabinet is used for delicate parts. It will accommodate components up to 48" x 48" in size.

We tackle larger jobs at our 168th street plant, where we have a dedicated sandblasting facility. The "blast room" is 20 ft. deep, 30 ft. wide and has a 12 ft. roof clearance.
