The tradition of excellence in quality and service dates back to Dale Hansen’s founding of the company in 1968.

Hansen’s began as a small shop, where he repaired molds, tools and dies of all types. Proprietary techniques were developed for micro-welding that are still in use today.

Now, products fabricated by Hansen’s are in use around the world. Like their father before them, Gary and Bob Hansen’s exceptional customer dedication has enabled the business to steadily draw customers from the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Asia.

Always Expanding!

In order to better meet the demand from their customers, increasing the capacity and capabilities of Hansen’s Welding has been an ongoing effort. Through their expansion, they maintain the same primary focus... producing a quality product while meeting the most stringent of your requirements.

Presently, they have over 40 employees and 25,000 square feet of shop floor space in two Gardena, California facilities.  They have a small fleet of trucks to facilitate material movement as well as to support our customers with "on-site" services.

Recently added, is a second, larger fabrication facility to help meet the ever expanding work load. Also recently added is a new 4 axis CNC mill to our machine tool capability.

Hansen's Welding has fabricated structures over 20 tons and more than 40 feet on overall length. We have a precision fabrication table 108" x 360" with a 10 ton capacity. Lifting capabilities exceed 12 tons.

With over 15 skilled welders and an 8 ton weld positioner,our welding process capabilities include:

MIG (GMAW; manual and semi automatic) TIG (GTAW) Stick (SMAW) Plasma (PAW) Submerged Arc (SAW; semi automatic) Oxy-Acetylene welding

Hansen's possesses a qualification to AWS D1.1, D1.2, Mil Std 1595A, ASME IX in an assortment of carbon steel, stainless steel, and non-ferrous materials. They have also been known to acquire additional certifications and adopt new procedures to comply with heightened specifications, as required for an individual project.
